Hi, I’m Alisa.
I make my home somewhere between the Rocky Mountains and the Pacific Northwest—a corner of the map that hasn’t quite settled on what to call itself. Whatever its name, the mountains keep me happy and my imagination busy.
When I’m not writing, I’m usually running or exploring those mountains. A winding trail is a good place to untangle a plot problem, although sometimes I come home with more ideas than I left with.
I share life with my husband, our kids, three dogs, a cat, and a bearded dragon. It’s a full house, and quiet writing time is something of a plot twist.
My Christian faith shapes both my life and the stories I tell. I write romance and romantic suspense because I love watching courage, hope, and love take root in difficult places—and because a little danger makes turning the page that much harder to resist.
I’m working toward publishing my first novel. Until then, I’m glad to have this little corner of the internet to share good books, writing updates, and a bit of life along the way.
